Container forklifts and reach stackers are specially designed to lift standard shipping containers. This allows you to load, unload, and move shipping containers quickly and efficiently. They are also sometimes called straddle carriers: Straddle carriers are designed to stack and move containers across the port grounds. They are suitable for quickly transporting containers to and from storage areas. Furthermore, our reach stackers—including models from Kalmar, Konecranes, and Hyster—are ideal for stacking containers up to three high. These machines are maneuverable and powerful, perfect for intensive port operations. A reach stacker is distinguished by its telescopic arm with a spreader, which allows containers to be lifted to height and placed in specific stacks. With a lifting capacity of over 50 metric tons and a long reach, reach stackers are indispensable in container terminals and inland ports.

A used container forklift is designed for moving and stacking containers to stacking height. They are more compact than reach stackers, making them easy to use in locations with limited space. Container forklifts are a cost-effective choice for terminals with lower container volumes.
The difference between a container lifter and a reach-stacker is that a reach-stacker can lift up to 3 stacks of containers. A container lift truck can only lift up to the first stack of containers. Its weight is on average 70 tons less than a reachstacker. In addition, we also work with various container cranes, such as ship-to-shore cranes, which are essential for loading and unloading container ships. They can place containers directly from the ship onto the wharf.
Straddle carriers are designed to stack and move containers around the port area. They are suitable for quickly transporting containers to and from storage areas. Thanks to their ground clearance, straddle carriers can drive over stacked containers and pick them up directly, without the need for a reach stacker or crane. They are widely used at large container terminals and in seaports.
Terminal tractors, also known as terminal trucks or yard tractors, are used to move trailers, containers and other heavy loads over short distances within the terminal area. They are flexible and can be equipped with various attachments to meet specific needs, such as moving long trailers or heavy loads.
